just came back from 1723 camp! havent replied to ppl's sms... and there's cip tml which i dun realy feel lyk gng coz i'm abit tired. but i m still lack of cip hrs.. haven even started on any cip proj! so i huv to wake up early tml :(
camp was fun fun fun and IMPACTFUL! really thank God tt eventually i did turn up for the camp. and i really had fun doing the puppet show for the kids! me and koh jiaying had loads of fun doing the action for i've got peace lyk a river~~~ and yar we tried the changing hands wan. which i totally cmi at first haha! joanna is realli good at it! had fun singing and doing actions wif the kids hahaha! some are really cute! i painted on a pebble haha :D it's actually meant for them to do their arts. and before tt talked to this boy about Christ using the good news! haha! :D it's has been quite a long time since i last share the Word wif other ppl :( sad to say... but coz he's alr a christian, it makes the whole process easier, easier for him to understand too. the funfair was quite tiring! after tt we had dinner before leaving fer our campsite. slpt abit on the bus coz i was quite tired alr haha! we brought slping bag coz there wasnt any beds.. oh yar i love the campsite :D it's at bethel presbyterian church. the place's very big! was chatting wif koh jiaying during the first night till lyk one plus. chatted about loads and loads of stuff lar haha! get to know her better. :D the first day was quite tiring.. esp during the children camp. joanna was more tired i think. coz most of the time she was picking the balls and handing them over to me haha! but i really had fun there! :D bought foods from shengshiong (dunno how to spell) haha! to stock up our food! there's ppl buying fruits, sweets, tidbits.. blah blah blah.. most of them bought stuff fer their angel/mortal :D had some icebreaking games and yess! we realli had a great laugh! hahahahha!!!! the preacher laughed till his face numb! everyone was laughing lyk mad. coz the actions were just too funny lar! shaocong is clever to guess the action was showing a merlion haha! damn epic lar! my angel gave me polky on the first day! thanks! and at first i was stoning coz there was no letter haha! but i gt his letter on the second day. received biscuits choc from my angel/mortal.
second day was quite tiring! had the RAT RACE! but at first i was at the base solving sudoku... but yar i coudlnt solve it... den after tt we had other quests. walked up and down the stairs to look fer stuff. phew.. sermon at night was veri veri veri interesting!the pastor told us about his experiences. went out fer supper after tt.. ohyar!!! i saw the legendary RK eating HSE!!!!!! hahaha! ate at chomp chomp. marilyn kinmun belinda and we shared a BIG glass of sugarcane juice, carrot cakes, and mango/almond pearl tau huey :D it's super nicee!!!!! ohyar coz it's about to rain wen we were planning to leave.. so some of us began to cab back.. but some of the cabbies do not noe the way to the church coz it's realli quite ulu.. and it's realli funny wen we hail a cab thrice and it's the same cab. so the uncle huv to keep saying no no no! hahahahaha! some of us took the preacher's car back to the campsite. wen we alighted, we just nkeep walking straight. and after tt we noticed we were getting further and further away from the cross. coz the church has this cross and it sort of guide us back to the church. and we had to walk al the way back until we saw koh jiaying weisheng standing at the road there waiting fer the rest haha! bathed twice on tt day coz i realli stink haha!
third day was fun fun fun! had STARDUST! where all of us get wet haha! after tt we had a super long break. so me koh jiaying and belinda went to sit at the swing and began chatting chatting... until we decided to go elsewhere. played don't forget the lyrics wif the rest! my bro just made 1 new ppt before the camp! haha! at night, we had this life stimulation game: underground church. everyone of us had a diff role to play, namely christian, hymn-book seller, bible seller, pastor, police, spy, special spy, torturer. and my role is the hymn-book seller. wen the game starts, everyone was hanging out at the parade square. me kohjiaying and belinda was still sitting at the swing.. lighting the torchlight, singing twinkle twinkle little star. the effect not bad ahh. and during the game i was damn worried... coz i had to avoid contact wif spy police. and all of us did not dare to trust the rest. we were worried tt the other party is the spy or police... but after tt as the game proceed on, more and more christians gathered. and wen we were prepared to huv our first worship, some of us got caught. we were shock wen they were being brought to the torture room. and yar wen it's my turn to retrive the hymn book, i was pretty worried. a spy actually approach me. and she ask me the secret qn.. but i was lyk feigning ignorance at her qn.. and yess she's the special spy wif all the secret qn and ans to our identity. so after tt i ran to the basement toilet to get the hymn book. and wen i found it, i was thinking of ways to hide it wif me. but the book it too big and no matter how i hide, it still looks damn obvious.. so i off the light and hid in the toilet.. heard footsteps and i thought it might be the police. called wen sze and she asked me to go up 5 min ltr.. so i waited... and wen i left, wenjing and kohjiaying was standing there. and yess, i was caught and brought to the torture room lar.. i felt soo reluctant! coz i alr got the hymn book and it's just tt one step close to having a worship! arghh! and wen i was outside the torture room, i was damn scared!! wen they asked me if i was a christian, i deny. and i felt damn guilty after tt.. coz i realli wanna get out of the room and continue the game! but yea, i figure out tt's really not the way. Jesus has sacrificed so much fer me and i just deny my faith?! my mind was lyk thinking wad am i thinking man?!?! and i'm, realli veri veri guilty and disappointed in myself.. the second time they post me the same qn, i was lyk ok lar ok lar i m a christian.. but i was laughing throughout the "torture". and yar my torture was in fact veri light. haha! and yar coz we were blindfolded during the torture we couldnt see wad's gng on in the room. pls the sound effect and everything, it's veri scary! wen they asked me to kneel down, tt's wen i pray and i imagine myself being in a real-life situation. tt's wen i feel tt God will see me through this process and yar i pass the test! after tt, i joined the rest who were caught and we witness how the others got "tortured" and yar it's quite funny! we were lyk laughing SILENTLY! hahahaha! wen the game ended, everyone of us did some sharing. realli felt lyk crying wen one of the sister cried. as in i felt veri veri guilty and disappointed in myself... but yar, it's true tt such a situation happen in china. every sunday, it's really fortunate fer us to be able to attend service openly, w/o the worry of getting arrested or with spy among us or wad.. tt feeling really suxs... i'm lyk so worried during the camp. imagine those out there experiencing this in their life? we have a church to go to and all the facilities.. but they have to hold everything secretly. it's realli a huge contrast. wad the preacher said was true lar. wen the game started, some christians had to step out to spread the word. coz it's only wen they get arrested tt we noe who are the spy and police. who to look out for. these christians are the ones tt laid out a path for the rest. questions to be asked: lyk wad Jesus and Stephen did, are we able to forgive and pray for those tt persecute us? i guess it's very hard.. tt's the case fer me. this life stimulation game is very impact-ful. we really gain a lot from this camp. had supper after we bathe and everything.. chatted. decided to play card games. so we went up. played some games.. after tt we played heart attack. our hands were red lar! HAHA! wen sze introduce us to the silent heart attack. it's realli veri fun! and FUNNY! joshua! he level up damn fast! even fer actions tt he suggested, he's always the last to do and the first to level up hahaha! played until 3. wanted to go to the rooftop to join the rest to see the moon/stars... if we can see stars in singapore.. but it's damn late alr! so me marilyn and kinmun decided to slp. woke up later in the morning.
got to noe who's our angel/mortal. quite funny hahaha! gave my mortal a veri veri cute rubbish bin. it's realli veri cute! so dun laugh ahh! haha!
TAYLOR rocks! haha! we are the champion group! woohoo!
reached church in the afternn.. had our lunch.. after tt me, my bro, john, sharon and weisheng went to the arcade fer a while. played a lot of games yar it's really veri veri fun! hahahaha!
and so tt comes to the end of the church camp. it's veri meaningful and i really gain a lot from this camp. I thank God for everything. for seeing us through this camp, ensuring our safety and for giving us this special oppportunity to learn more about His Word. :D
